Choosing new interior decor that will blend your old interior decor can be difficult. There are times when the decor you're attempting to match is so old and outdated that nothing you do will ever bring it back into style. Then again there's always the fact that your old interior decor may just be too old and tattered to be of much use to you.

Whether you're trying to match a new interior decor to your old interior decor, or whether you're merely trying to renovate your old interior decor, you might just find yourself with the wrong end of the stick. Yours just may be a Herculean task and you may just find yourself needing to battle barriers at every turn. Barriers such as Cost, Unavailability and Out-of-Stock might become companions with your headaches.

So wherever possible you should attempt to get as close a match as possible to your existing interior decor and strive to be satisfied with it. Regrettably if have the redecorating bug in your blood then the last thing you want to do is to settle for second best. Therefore, unless you're especially attached to the old interior decor and old room design, you may want to consider going in for a newer look.

And this is where the exciting part comes in to play and you get into the real nitty-gritty of redecorating. Then again if you simply go with the flow and get your new room design sorted out you might be pleasantly surprised to discover an interior decor that complements your old interior decor when you go shopping.

Of course choosing a new interior decor isn't always going to be easy if you're on the way to dumping out the window your entire old decor. 

For no other reason than because you're more than likely going to want to choose a completely new decoration scheme for your room. This in itself can be a big ordeal and something that's best achieved with a little bit of forethought.

However, after you get all of that figured out, all you need to do is to select your new interior decor and cart it all back home.

 You may want to think about the paramount way to showcase your new interior décor so that it has pride of place in your recently repainted and refurbished room. Choosing new interior decor is the fun element of decorating but is not the end.

Once you have your new interior design and you have chosen the paramount placing for the interior décor you get the opportunity to show it off. 

A large party may not be the best way to show off your new interior décor as the commotion may get in the way of the appreciation.  Better suited to really showing off the interior design is to do so a few friends at a time.  Hosting an intimate dinner party will showcase a new dining room décor without seeming too ostentatious. 

After dinner drinks in a newly renovated living room will do the job just fine as well.  What ever your personal social desires; showing off that great new interior design makes the effort worth the while.  Particularly if you can turn your friends just a little green with envy!
