Kitchen Design
I recently
bought a new house and one of the first things that I really had to
redecorate in my new house, was my
kitchen. It required an almost complete
remodeling effort and I have to say that I was ready for it. A new kitchen design was what I was looking
for.
Since I spend quite a
bit of my time in the kitchen I was only too eager for the excuse to create a new kitchen
design.
The only trouble with that as far as I was
concerned though was what my kitchen design was going to look after it was finished.
I was only planning to do this once - I flipped
through some interior design magazines, pursued a few home improvement stores and essentially did the
rounds.
When I returned with and what I liked, I made note of it and kept it
to the side. If I was able to I would keep whatever clippings and brochures I could come across. I even found
myself pleading with my dentist's receptionist for a magazine that had a particularly nice kitchen design in
it.
Following the compilation of my source material I then
went to work late one evening and starting with a blank page, drew a rough sketch of my kitchen
design.
From there I filled in the details that I
wanted, marked out the doors and such and generally had a really good time with my paper kitchen
design.
Of course I didn't just stick with one kitchen
design.

I incorporated as many of the features I
could into each design and finally over the course of half the night came up with several designs that I liked.
In the end it was just a matter of selecting which one I liked the most. Rather than doing that however, I came
up with a kitchen design that incorporated the best features of all of the outstanding
designs.
Having suitably decided on the kitchen design
that I desired, I then went ahead and refitted every last single thing in the kitchen starting with the sink
and finishing with the cupboards.
I watched my kitchen design come to life right in front of my very
eyes.
Watching as the final coat of phaint was put on the walls and the
last speck of dust was carefully wiped away from the counter top, I was happy beyond belief that I finally
had my very own kitchen design integrated into my house, at last.
There’s much to be said for having your own kitchen design come to
life for you.
A job well done can be appreciated; however, a job well done in your
new kitchen design is something that can be appreciated for a long time to come.
From the first waking hours where you are fixing your morning coffee
to the evening when you lovingly spend time fixing your family dinner you can enjoy your kitchen design and
know that you created this masterpiece.
A major bragging point for friends who come over for tea or coffee
as you relish in their oohhs and ahhs; or if they are less than impressed you can stay quiet and blame it on
the former owners.
